Lost and found

I got healthily lost there for a few days, and have emerged from the other side feeling clearer and more thoughtful that I have for a while. The biggest question as I was meandering the more obscure parts of my subconscious, was "what do I believe?" This is a question that seems to surface more and more as I get older. I guess it comes down one of the "biggies" "Is there a god". To me the answer to this question is circular. There is such a huge amount of awe in the universe, in it's incredible diversity, and for me that amount of awe, surely MUST lead to an amazing consciousness, and such an amazing conciousness is unlikely to find the issue of time an obsticle in exploring all that is, and by that very exploring enrich and affect (and possibly start) the universe. Do I believe that this unimaginable consciousness is likely to "save" humanity. I have to say I doubt it. I think that we are responsible for saving our selves, and if we don't then the life will go on without us. I would love to see us "make it" though, and so many people are rearranging their priorities, and you don't have to go back very far to see how much we can change, and how much we have changed, I think that we will emerge from our current challenges, wiser and more aware of our part in the universe. I envision a world where people find more meaning in their lives and interact in more enriching ways, and I am joyful to be a part of that shift.
